Civil Society Space in Tunis
7 November. It has been confirmed that the CS Space will be available from 13 November.
14 October. The WSIS ES has forwarded our proposal for a division of the CS Space to the Tunisian Secretariat. The CSB Secretariat is now awaiting a reply from Tunis.
About 400 m2 of space within the Summit premises will be given to Civil Society. The CSB has requested that the space could be divided into:

1 CSB meeting room for 40-45 persons

1 Caucuses meeting room for 30-35 persons
-
8 small cubicle offices equipped with a pc connected to the Internet.

1 bigger CSB Secretariat Office

A working space accomodated for at least 70 persons
Internet connection
The CSB has requested that Internet access will be free and unfilteredat the Summit. At the CSB meeting 27 September, the Tunisian ambassador, Samir Labidi, announced that WiFi would be free as the ITU would pay for it. However, this has not been confirmed by the WSIS ES yet.
Besides the WiFi, LAN connections for laptops will be available within the CS area.
